I can't understand why he's done something as drastic as putting in a transfer request. There can't be enough extra money on someone else's table to justify doing that. It's a stupid thing to do when he can move elsewhere in a few months time without any acrimony. I can only put it down to jealousy of Winnall, Bree and Hourihane's moves.
Not only that, but by formally requesting a transfer, he would forfit the remainder of his contract with us if a transfer had gone through. If he had been transferred without a request, he would have got the remaining 5 months of his contract paid up(well a mutually agreed portion) in addition to his wages at his new club...
