Maybe but what is the affect on the physical well being?

    They are supposedly professional athletes!

    Good question.

That Conor Wickham was in Marbella for a week & was in the papers pictured with bottles of vodka that cost thousands looking smashed. Bet the manager & chairman weren't impressed.

Cranie was slated on here and at the ground for being ****? It was only when we got rid of all our better layers making him the only senior defender not on loan that his popularity rose because he looked better than the rest.

Tom Kennedy would have been our best defender (well maybe not) if we got rid of everyone else and replaced them with none league part timers. That's an extreme version of how cranies standing rose.

I'm glad this subject has been brought up. IMHO I think Martin typifies the players (vast majority of it) this season. The blokes a senior player and a decent championship player, yet hes dropped down to div 3 and like I say typified the senior players attitude.
The other night against Fleetwood, he'd got Pearson trying to shove him into positions he should know he should have been in. Its like the seniors have this season thought sod it!
I cant make my mind up if Danny wasn't hard enough on them or not. He should not have to be.
But back to Crainie another enigma for me, God only knows what is I the mind-set of these players.

I think your confusing Cranie not signing when the club wanted him to stay with something you've just totally made up about partying abroad.

On the Lita/Jennings/Treacy front. IMHO Hard to judge because none of them have been given a run in the side, limited opportunities in and out of the side and rarely seeing a full 90mins neh mind 2-3 games on the spin... Yet Bailey, Hemmings etc out of form and fitness given regular run in the side?

These lads would expect to play and all considered no wondered, form, fitness and confidence has suffered!

Ive have been and still am against the sacking of Danny, I totally understand why he's gone, however, as a collective the players have been poor most of the season, splattered by a few good performances.
We lack a lot of things at the moment for me, our passing is poor, fitness levels seem poor and kids have come in to a poor side and overall done well. The senior players for me have not showed the way and I am very disappointed. Players who aught to be ripping this division up, seem incapable of A,B,C.
It all makes me believe (just a theory) that all is not or was not well at the club and Danny was probably not favoured, by some of the players.
I accept that Danny takes the brunt for this and its the reason why the axe fell.
Hope the next man, who comes in can sort out the.........whats the word? errr complacency, unprofessionalism, maybe both.
