    Forest's day in the sun was in the late 70's under Clough and will never come again.

    I started typing that as a barbed comment against them. In reality it's a sad indictment. A club there size should hope to have a top team every decade or so when the wheel spins their way. Unfortunately for clubs like them those times are gone for ever in the current climate of greed and chequebook trophy hunting.
