    Find it bizarre that someone would choose League One footie to Championship unless there was a huge gap in wages.

    Agreed, considering the guy has basically had only

    2/3rds of a season looking good.It's whether wecan get better players for less than that money that worries me though!

    yup i agree - im sure we will if we hang in there, this guys wages have been inflated hugely by John Ryans huge ego imho and his desperation to get one over local rivals. Alternative scenario - play the game and end up paying a young lad 6k a week say? No thanks.

    Obviously I dont know the figures but 5k a week is a hell of a lot and we could get in a quality loan player for that amount come end of July.

    Has it been confirmed by any of the Championship teams that they were actually interested in signing him?
    More agent talk!!!
    The agent rings Barnsley and asks if they are interested - they say NO! The agent can then say that they have been in talks with Barnsley about a possible move!
    It also makes it look a much better signing for Doncaster.

    He's been linked with us for weeks. I don't doubt we would have

    been interested in him, would have been foolish not to have been, at the right price.
