Find it very strange that a sizeable amount of comments on here are questioning the alleged victim rather than the alleged perpetrator.

Keeping an open mind are the posts where it says this like ‘(if it is genuine)’. Calling her a liar isn’t keeping an open mind, it’s just doing the opposite and sending her down without a jury. As it stands, she’s provided a photograph and a voice recording, has he made a statement yet?

As opposed to deciding someones guilt after seeing a Instagram post. Better off keeping a open mind and let a jury and judge decide.

    Twas ever thus...

Easier to try and discredit the alleged victim than to show them support.

Keeping an open mind isn't focusing on the credibility of the victim though is it? I'll leave it there with you. Never said he's nailed on guilty either.

Can't agree with that JD , surely its saying you are passing on an opinion as its presented.
I put 'if genuine' on a post and sided with her but as it stands there should be a right of reply, personally I don't think he has a leg to stand on but...

I would have thought that putting it up on social media was an extremely bad move if anyone then tries to get him into a court - you need 12 people who are not prejudiced by knowing about the case, that’s now going to be very difficult to get and the defence can argue straight away the trial is unfair.

Reminds me of a joke/line I heard a female comedian say....
'I have a rape fantasy........it involves more convictions and longer sentences'

The vast majority of rapes never get reported to the police, of the ones that do, the majority don't make it to trial. Of the ones that make it to trial, the burden of proof means that guilty people often walk.

So.... from your perspective, the enormous majority of rapists didn't do anything wrong.

Well; you're entitled to your opinion, and I'm happy to disagree with you :)

As someone has said on here, maybe she did go to the police back in October and they did nothing, so she’s resorted to this now.

    We really don’t know.

But I knew as soon as I saw this earlier today that there would be some jumping on the bandwagon for her ‘ruining his career’.

He’s innocent until proven guilty, but she can’t be treated as anything other than a victim, sorry more accurately survivor, until such a point.

If it were to turn out she’d embellished something or made it all up, she would not get away with it. But the evidence provided is chilling, particularly to a dad of two girls.
