Not really. He signed a two year contract in September. There's nothing unreasonable about not wanting to sign another a few months later. Likewise there is nothing unreasonable in the club wanting him to. What is completely counter productive is the club then putting him on the naughty step, treating him like a leper and lowering his value
Bree is noway near as good as Holgate.. judging from last season anyway. Has a lot of time to improve.
I was told the reason he wasn't with the first team, doing full contact stuff etc was at the request of himself as he didn't want to pick up a knock in case it scuppered a potential move. No idea if it's reight or owt, rumours are exactly that until proven otherwise. I really enjoyed watching Mason, I'd have liked him to remain. Maybe he still will do?
Hate to be aggressive and all that...but don't the ressies and kids tackle in their training sessions?
I always think of this song when people bang on abart Holgate. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9vQaVIoEjOM
You're not being aggressive, not in this instance anyway. I'd take what I say on here especially that earlier with a pinch of salt pal. I wouldn't ban anyone even if I was a mod. Diversity n all that. And aye, I thought and said the same to the chap who told me the rumour.
I'd have in the team until sold simply because we pay him and hes one off our best 11 players. I have no facts so take all rumors with a pinch of salt. the best deal for us if he hss to be sold is to include a season long loan in the deal like MK did with Deli Alle
The lad is a bad apple. Sooner he is out of the club the better. Not sure where he will end up though because premier league clubs aren't biting.
I watched harry forrester bully him last year at the keepmoat. Good luck to him against deigo costa in the premiership. The lad needs to get back to reality.
Holgate has undoubted ability, last year in glimpses showed moments of fantastic skill especially for a defender, he is just a long way of learning his trade and that is defending and he does need to become stronger Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
The negative comments about Holgate and Digby and Smith remind me of the days when the faithful slagged off Eaden and Liddle and Watson. The more things change the more they stay the same.
