Rashford's first touch is abysmal. Keeps passing to Welsh players. Run at them for f**ks sake!!! When we have moved the ball quicker (once or twice) they look vulnerable but this tippy tappy stuff they can soak up all night. the final balls have been laughable given that they are coming from international players. Rashford had Foden in a clear goal scoring position but didn't get the ball past the first man. This has got to be down to the manager's tactics. Even Foden looks lacklustre.
Against USA we were crap apparently, despite holding off a young USA team who never stopped pressing and are currently doing exactly the same to an Iranian team who battered Wales. Yet against Wales we've battled well apparently and are on top, when we've been crap against a crap Welsh team who's only plan appears to be defend 11 behind the ball until 5 mins from the end, when they will expect Bale to score 4. And these experts get millions.
The parallels between Kitching and Maguire are there again. Both like a long diagonal pass - often goes out of play. Both like to blast it from one side of the penalty area to the opposite corner flag. Both like to go on a run at least once or twice a match - usually comes to nothing. Oh, and they look alike. Could be inter-changeable.
I was expecting Wales to play like 1970 Brazil as they seem to up their game when they play us, regardless of how rubbish they are the rest of the time.
