That's more of a reflection on the quality of finishing from the opposition rather than our dominance under Collins. Number of times we have just scraped over the line to save more excuses. Just before the international break the old tiredness russbish started to be mentioned. Well the same tiredness doesn't seem to be impacting an ageing Derby team and the others around us. 100% coaching and tactics are not good enough.
I agree with him. Missed a load of chances and they scored from a freak own goal and then from poor marking from a corner. We had more than enough chances to win the game even though we were bad.
I never thought we would score, felt the same as last game, way to slow amd no player taking the responsibility to shoot. Connell.played some nice through balls at times, Earl tried to get us forward but it was all so pedestrian and predictable.
It was pedestrian but we also should’ve scored on several occasions (Mcatee/Cole). Both things can be true at the same time.
True, but we've had games where I felt we would score more than yesterday. Also Cambridge were poor opposition and we should have been more threatening at home. They had a fair few chances to get more themselves
