We have a slow flat midfield. Won’t get you anywhere in the end.

Humphrys provided muscle for the win.

Connell provided accuracy for the lead.

Otherwise there was little to suggest a fruitful season.

MDG and Earl were both clever footballers on show, again.

I honestly didn’t think we played that badly to be honest.

Mistakes yeah, tried to give two points away, but three deserved points in the end, scrapped for, and after Tuesday, as I said earlier, that is a cracking job done.

My mom was Neil from the inbetweeners. (Calls himself Josh Earl these days…h

It’s not though, because other teams drop points that they shouldn’t as well as us

I didn’t think we were great but at the same time we nullified them pretty well. How many clear chances did they actually have? I’m struggling to remember any except the goal.

A couple of frustrating moments with decision making. Connell should have played in either Keillor-Dunn or Cotter when he burst through & chose to take the shot instead & then later on when Humphreys could have played Phillips in but chose to try & lob the keeper instead but we ended up winning so it’s all good.

I’m surprised Keillor-Dunn or Phillips didn’t score from Cosgrove’s knockdown. Not because they were brilliant chances but because they’re both good enough to score with a chance like that.

Still a deserved 3 points for me.

It was never going to be a vintage performance coming off two heavy defeats so job done & onto the next one. Hopefully we’re catching Stockport at the right time as they seem to be having a bit of a dip in form.

Another thing the Burton commentary noticed, the strip! As described not white more like mucky washed work socks, bang on we’ve had some decent away colours and it seems to not really matter who’s in the league given 3rd strips are the norm, this season’s are awful( I know I’ve said it before and the record needs changing, just noticeably picked up on commentary).

My Dad says Humphry's missed an absolute sitter when their keeper came forward. Nothing on highlights though?

The away kit close up I think is stunning. Silver/grey; white rose detailing. It’s really nice.

It’s on the latest YouTube video which is highlighted on here. Behind the goal camera shots like we used to get under the old media regime

Phillips played him in and he took a heavy touch that allowed the keeper to get out and block it.
