I don't think it is. MDG gets a lot of flak on here but I'd start him every game in front of Pines. Aside from being good in the air I think he's a liability.

I think I just about agree. But then I'd still be tempted to pick a bag of sick at 6 (sic).

Should have put pines upfront instead of Cosgrove he would have done a better job of closing down the defender than slippy Sam did.

The fact that Nwakali didn’t get on last night is on the manager.

Some people blame the manager, and others blame the players, but it is obviously a bit of both.
Early on, DC was chopping and changing the starting eleven, and people said he didn't know his best eleven, and we need a settled side.
He now seems to have a more settled starting eleven, but it doesn't make sense, as it is not a winning one.
Players like Nwakali and Jalo have both come on and improved the side, but the next game they do not start, and sometimes do not even get off the bench. This makes no sense.
He keeps bringing Donovan and Sam on with 30 seconds left, which gives neither of them time to settle. The latter never looks like scoring, but what other options do we have.
Additionally, as I posted elsewhere before the game against the Hollywood XI, we need 35 shots, to get 10 on target and for 1 to go in. That's on the players.
The fact we have a dedicated set-piece coach, who refuses to help out on the field, we persist with Luca who has delivered nothing recently.
I'm getting so frustrated, which will only get more severe when we have the run of games at 4:00 PST.
    / rant over

Unworthy comment. And somewhat out of character if you don’t mind me saying do.
