I seem to remember we did that once on the final day at Portsmouth, in the early 00's. They needed a win to stay up, and we just didn't care, and it ended 3-0. It wasn't all bad though, as Huddersfield were relegated instead, which is always perfectly acceptable.
I read most of this last night when on the train from Luton to London Bridge. The obvious route back to Farnham from Bletchley! To be fair for 20mins second half we were not very good though some comments on here are way over the top in a game where we had no need to go at full tilt and risk an injury or sending off I particularly liked the ones criticising Isted who could do nothing about any of the goals and made several excellent saves. We could easily have been 3-1 down at half time but for our keeper I think some people can’t wait to find fault it’s a bit tiresome.
Yeah and its awful how some are slagging off Luke Thomas. Despite the fact that he suffered what could have been a serious injury, and he's fought back from it and is doing his best. By rights, that could have kept him out for a full season. I'd agree that before he went out on loan, he had been a big disappointment up until then. But certainty not this season!.
Now its the silly season again, and some chairmen/owners are already making rash decisions. Milton Keynes have sacked their coach Mark Richards today, after their relegation. I know it happens after a bad season, but he was only appointed in December, so that's another ludicrous sacking after just 5 months. I thought he sounded honest and sensible, when talking about our match there recently. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65532665
