Positives?

• Shepherd looked good again.
• It showed those unconvinced by Kane (i.e. me) that maybe he is important to the midfield.
• Connell is coming back.
• Erm; there's plenty of room for improvement.
• There should be money to be spent in January.

 

Giving Phillips a 4 year deal..

Also Robert's will be coming back.

What on earth as happened to him? Playing nowt like last season.

 

Managers ok when we score first and totally clueless when the opposition do. Gradual slide down the league coming up hopefully slowly enough that we keep out of trouble. Look ok against poor teams but way out of our depth against any half decent team and worryingly the performances are getting worse the further into the season we go

 

That's the positivity which keeps me coming back to this board.

 

You do realize the board have put somewhere in the region of 10 million into the club recently, just to keep us afloat. I don't think they are hiding money, or taking it out of the club,

To be honest he was absolutely awful last season. His general game and contribution over 90 minutes was so poor but that was masked by a rocket of a shot once every few games. I've heard his 8 assists talked about as being an amazing stat and evidence of his brilliant play but let's remember that Jordan Williams played BEHIND him and over the course of the season there was only one successfully aimed pass that became an assist separating the two of them.

His overall game is not good enough, it wasn't last season and isn't this season. We carry him every match and we do it in the hope that he might have one belter of a shot. When he doesn't do that he may as well not be on the pitch.

The problem is that goes for a few of our players. Completely ineffective passengers given game time in the hope they do one successful shot or pass.

I don’t understand why we persist with playing McCart over Shepherd. There was worse players than McCart today, granted, but Shepherd is a young local lad who’s looked by far our best centre back so far this season. He’s being kept out of the side by a very average Rotherham loanee.

again, nothing against McCart but I wanna see Shepherd in there over him.

 

Phillips was better than his mate callum today who looks like one of the most over rated barnsley players ever.

 

Well i've gorra admit that was'nt the best away game i've bin to, it was my first game this season and it was a real eye opener, i dont know weather they look better on a dodgy stick or if they are as bad as they were t'day, 5hite is being a bit o.t.t, but my god that was dire, 150quid art of pocket and a sickeming feeling in the stomach i aint had for a while, but as they say always look on the bright side of life, keep the faith.
