    They hugely downgraded cosgrove stats, used to be 90 strengh, 90 aggression, i wonder why the football experts who run the game think he dropped so much

    Apart from Watters who did his best tonight to be left out of a starting 11. Or even a place on the bench tbh.

    What are peoples' opinions on how McCarthy played?

    I had been hoping he could be like a new signing to shore up the back three but admittedly I've seen very little of him play.

    I thought we looked well-coached, comfortable on the ball. It was a lot of steady-eddy performances which is fine because I think if any of our first teamers are injured or suspended for a few games I wouldn't worry that any of this lot are going to mess it up. In fact I think even Barnsley B could hack it in this division.

    Spot on. I think we need players to slot in.. preferably to a winning team. Hopefully key personal will stay fit for the most part to see it come to fruition.

    I like him, but officially he is only on 1 goal from the EFL Cup. I found out last season that EFL Trophy goals don't count on the official list.

    No way do football experts reflect on Fifa stats. Haven't played fifa since I was a teenager but seen plenty of people who do play it, so see cards etc from the game. It's diabolical

    I thought it was OK tonight. Nothing great, but not awful. A bit flat at times, but new players got some minutes in. Fringe players got a runout. We scored two and won, whilst keeping a clean sheet.

    I'm quite surprised by the level of negativity by some on this thread, as I think it was an OK outing.

    Probably because we was playing League One last season. They don’t like to have over powered players in the game at League One level.
