Not buoyant at all, i just don't share in the knee-jerk reaction. It's a terrible follow-up to Tuesday night's excellent performance and win, and questions need to be answered. I don't subscribe to the 'we're in a relegation battle now and all the assets will be sold and we'll be making the short trip up Wakefield Road to play Athersley Rec in the next 4 years'. My mind just doesn't work like that. I'm disappointed of course, but we're 5 games in.
You might want to reassess that buddy - I didn’t think he was that far out watching it live and I’ve just watched it back, he was barely in front of his penalty spot. As I’ve said elsewhere, the blame for it doesn’t sit with Collins.
Well double trouble Barnsley loose at home 3 0 went to watch Bridlington in cup and they lost 3 0 an all, mi 7 fold, folded, and to cap it all off i lost mi car key's.
My thoughts from today; 1. Kitching is no left back 2. Jordan Williams won't play worse than that many times in his career 3. I worry Cundy's out of his depth 4. We should've signed more Norwoods and fewer Connells. 5. Cole and Aitchison are no partnership. Not enough exchanges between them and no understanding from each other of the runs they'll make. 6. Wycombe are a tough side to play. They'll beat some top sides and challenge this year. 7. We'll be fine, but it'll take time and patience. 8. Duff has a job on but he's the right man. Better attitude all round even today than what we saw last season.
I think we will see many changes for the Leeds game. Elland Road is sold out, chance to play a Premier League team, play at a Premier League ground etc and nobody for us impressed enough yesterday to cement a place in that team. You'd have thought yesterday they would have been eager. Styles will be losing his place in his racist international squad the way he jogs around the pitch doing the square root of F all. Wolfe came on and the only thing he did was **** out of a 50/50 challenge that nearly cost us a goal. We haven't one striker we can have confidence in to score regularly. I would be amazed if any of them reached double figures for league goals.
