No Andromeda is 2.5 million light years away.
    That’s 23.5 x 10^15 metres. At 60 metres per kick thats
    390000000000000 kicks.

Are you saying you've never heard a manager say they went against the script. I have. many times.

Not doubting it mate just can't remember it . it would have been his Dad Earnest. My mrs was a nurse on the ward when Clarky visited him. He introduced Clarkey. she said to her credit
    Mrs "Alan who" lol,
    E.D "Barnsley fc manager"
"Mrs " Oh ! Mi hubby watches em I'm not interested in football"
Clarky is probably the only name, if asked, she'd know was involved with Barnsley to this present day lol.

What, against the script every match? Find that very hard to believe. Especially something like time wasting

This match day thread could be up there with "Is there a God" at this rate.

    Touchè;)
. It's only an opinion mate and I totally get yours. I just like to give my honest reasons to back missen up. as do you.
:) I had folk telling me why. Based on their opinion of mine. I Thought neither goalie was championship standard. The audacity of it.
It's quite simply they aren't. I Would expect at worst someone nearly equal to luke Steele. Sadly neither are. Just an honest opinion based on the years I've watched us. Which is probably more than I like to remember lol. :)

Going off at a tangent, spare a thought for poor old Jim Iley, god rest his soul, still getting picked on after all these years.
Truth is, if it hadn't been for Jim Iley there would never have been Allan Clarke. Because JI picked the club up when it was on its arse, turned it round and made it fit for purpose again.

Over most of his tenure he had his best players sold from under him, like Bobby Doyle, Mick Butler, etc... It was a change at board level & some new vision at the club that resulted in Clarke joining & taking us to another level. I'd paint Iley as some kind of John the Baptist figure. Not totally sure what that role is, but you need one before the messiah comes in. Step forward Ronnie...
