An away point and unbeaten run continues.

 

Good point - we'll have to grind out a few more of these before the end of the season. Horrible place to go, little schitt-pot of a manager. We'll look back at that as a decent day's work.

 

Missed Luca's quality today. 8 unbeaten.

Both teams as bad as each other with silly fowls but Bristol doing most moaning and their Barton as bad with ref at HT.

 

We've not played well at all. However, a point away from home and another clean sheet is not to be sniffed at. We've got 60 points at the start of March, with some big games at home to come over the next few weeks. We'll not play well every week and I'm certainly not going to criticise the lads for this performance after what's been seen from us, these past few weeks especially.

 

Badly missed Luca Connell today, hope he recovers quickly.

 

Any points away are good points IMHO. And aclleian sheet .

 

Disappointing draw but we've not lost ground!

 

Fair result today and another point on the board.

 

Poor game on a poor pitch to be honest we had a couple of good chances first half but we weren’t anywhere near our best so will happily take a point .

 

Kane should have buried his chance 1st half and the pen was stonewall as the come. But overall a draw a fair result.

 

Thinking back there were two or three good chances where a player is in the box facing the goal and the ball at his feet. Add the clear penalty that wasn't given then another 4-0 away win should have been achieved. But no - we missed them when presented so it's a rare NIL from us.

That was certainly a hard game to watch and I am grateful that I saw it from the comfort of my chair in front of the screen instead of travelling all that way down to the south west. Some of us may think we can win every game but just lately we've seen just how bad playing surfaces can be at this level. We've managed to overcome them before, but not today. In the end a point is not to be sniffed at but it would have been SOOOOO good to have got up Barton's nose with a 95th minute winner. I really thought we were going to get it as well, but it wasn't to be.

So, on to next week with two very hard home games against Naval dockyard teams. Four points out of six would not be a bad return but I think we can get all six.

 

We've got that used to winning lol but i will take a point today.

 

Reight enjoyed that, sat in West Stand t'day, well done to all the other Barnsley fans that made the journey, got darn ere last neight, had a stroll around Victoria park this morning before brekky, then we went to city for a look rarnd, anyhow sat in mi b an b aving a brew, that was shabby t'day, a few missed chances, shudav ad a penalty, Derby dropped 2 points as did Wycombe, It was fooookin freezing i dont know what the temp was but i forgot mi hat an i've got a bold heeard, i've got brain freeze wi art eating an ice cream, a good point, a clean sheet and a nice day art, see ya all Tuesday, C,O,Y,R, an Bridlington had a win.

They were i was sat amongst em, first time i've felt uneasy in yrs, they definately dont like us.
