We haven’t turned up for the majority of our home games this season. It’s our away form that’s kept us at being competitive and that looks to be evading us now.
Utter rubbish, those who have paid money should get a refund.. 1st teamers out there.. Cosgrove, Connell, killip, Marsh, McCarthy, Okeefe, Shepherd, Dodgson, Cotter.. So lets not pretend it's a complete reserves squad. Either they have just been told to play 90 and not push n get injured or they are piss poor. Tactically, the game plan looks awful.
I understand the 'weakened' side, but this is a really bad reflection on Collins, at a time he really needed to start showing some grit. Needs to change it up fast otherwise I fear for his job.
Be interesting how Mr Collins sums this one up. Experimental side or not it’s hard to find an excuse for such a heavy defeat to a side in 19th place in the league below us. Could’ve been more and probably will be before the end….
Really not looking forward to a freezing day in Lincoln, just don't see that we have the turnaround required in us. What on earth does Collins say to them to dampen any flames of enthusiasm they all should have as professionals?
It might sound silly after such a nothing game, but I really do feel like I need to see something from Collins that makes it look like he can turn it around in the next few games now. I can barely be bothered turning up to watch this dross on ifollow, so christ knows what season ticket holders are thinking. Tonight has been particularly bad, but it's got all the hallmarks of our recent generally poor performances. And yeah, I know we're in 6th etc. I've made that argument myself over the past few months. I'm just seeing nothing positive, and nothing promising.
One set of players trying to impress their manager in a dead match, one set ours unfortunately who just couldn't give a toss. The coach sets the tone at a club with his attitude Collins must have a dire attitude on tonight's evidence.
