There’s some quality curry houses in Bradford for anyone that fancies leaving as I am sure @Merde Tete will testify
He’s very much a case of get the job done and close shop. Which has worked to a degree, but is dour at times. Duff kept them going even if we were 2-0 up. Still, we’re 6th in the league and 9 points from top…….
Collins tactics are pass around the back side ways backwards until the opposition falls to sleep then we can score.
Confidence, direction, organisation, positivity and team structure / set up should come from the coaching team. We looked pretty ordinary in the second half at Horsham but that first half tonight was absolutely woeful. Collins needs some performances and results pretty quickly.
I once saw a sandcastle made of ****. Just seen a big pile of ****. I could not call it a sandcastle. Collins looks impassive & useless again.
Key word is performances. We haven’t had a really good one since we played Wigan. Can see us struggling against Lincoln on Saturday. Collins is blessed with a good squad and without a few key players we’d be in mid table and more of this BBS would be calling for him to go.
sIgN a StRiKeR......... People seem surprised that Killip isnt good enough, another absolute gem from the recruitment team. Killip must have thought Jeremy Beadle had come back when signing the contract. Amateurs running the show behind the scenes, absolutely zero footballing nouse. A head coach that isn't good enough, how many times does one man fail so badly in recruitment of Head Coaches? Speculative cheap lower league signings that isn't just poor or unlucky it's serious negligence. The only thing I would say is unlucky so far is the injury to Connell and the absolute no show from Phillips this season. sIgN a DEfeNdEr (not from the conference)
Poor recruitment doesn’t give Collins a free pass. The football is turgid, one paced and one dimensional. We have enough quality in midfield and to an extent upfront to challenge in a weak league. I think we should be looking very closely at the next 3 games for a big improvement. I’d also expect them to come out this half with a very different attitude.
Cosgrove is one of the most lightweight 'big strikers' I remember seeing. Another one that just doesn't look bothered. I wonder if Collins is starting to lose the dressing room? There seems to be some signs of that starting to show.
I missed the first half due to having to write my appraisal tonight. It turns out, doing that was actually more fun
