I live 50 yards from ground. Walk into tarn at 12. Pint it up. Walk alway back past mine into ground and it's very rarely before 3. Leave t'Well dependant on performance (it's been as early as 3.20). Walk past mine again into tarn. Few celebratory/commiserating pints. Walk alway back home, get changed. Maybe a neet out. So walk back int tarn for either a pint or for a bus/taxi. Then walk alway home again safe in the knowledge my 18 pints, a Greggs, a HT pie and a kebab have zero calorific count due to all my walking! Result.
2:30ish only livr a mile and a half away from ground. Nice walk there and back. Although I do like the Saturday 5:15 starts as I like to go straight into Tarn after.
I usually leave my house at about 10.30 a.m. on match days, which is half an hour or so after the game has finished! I tend to still be in bed when the game starts, so my morning usually starts off badly, improves with a cup of tea at half time and then slowly gets worse for the next 45 minutes or so. When I am in the UK, I leave at about 2pm to get to the ground, or maybe 1.30pm if Fired has arranged to meet some fellow BBS-ers for a drink somewhere. Hopefully the next time will be at Christmas.
2 O'clock, get parked up about 20 to 3 have 15 minutes listening last bit of early prem game on radio and check team on mi phone short walk to ground trying to get to mi seat bang on kick off or just after so I miss all that cringeworthy ****** that makes mi feel sick
About 11 from Sheffield (10am if I'm playing footie first) into the Dove for pie and peas and pints. After into Courthouse or White Bear. If we win out in Sheffield if we lose home in a a sulk.
Aye me too. Travel over from Leeds. Set off to train station about half 10 to get the 11:05 train to Barnsley then into Courthouse then No.7. Can't beat it. Except for an away day obviously.
Oh aye I forgot there's the little trip to ye olde pyrotechnics shoppe for my flares before I get to Oakwell.
