None, because there are no Prem games this weekend. If there were all Prem teams have undersoil heating and can afford to use it. Northampton are EFL 1 and like most other lower league teams they don't enjoy such luxury.
literally no person has said anything about it being the wrong decision, just expressed disappointment that it is off.
You can have all the protection thats available but if the surrounding areas are unsafe then it is still game off.
We're in this league for a reason. Let's not come across all Massive like a few have already. It is what it is.
Shame, as not only could we have got a win in the current form we’re in, but it would’ve meant having a less congested fixture list than most. Sure it’s the right decision though.
As I see it, you didn’t call anything, apart from Northampton Town silly names. The match is off because it’s January, it’s freezing and they don’t have the luxury of under soil heating. There is absolutely no evidence they didn’t try to get the game on.
Double edged sword innit. Extra rest, but it's only kicking the can down the road really. We were in a good spell as well, so personally would have preferred to keep the momentum going. Ah well.
Hopefully with a couple of good signings before the window ends and extra time to bed the new Irish lad in we might be in a even better position for when the game is rearranged.
Especially bearing in mind Huddersfield could be 8 points in front by 5 o’clock tomorrow with a win at Shrews, if it’s played.
This actually could be a blessing in disguise.Like I've said before there's two or three of our players who are fair weather sailors and I fear if they would have played tomorrow they wouldn't have shown up.
