In fairness, my judgement has been clouded by the 3 times he was 1 on 1 and managed to either run it into the keeper or out of play. He's looked lively and a few decent runs, but no end product today.
Only Barnsley could win a game in such a manner that it actually leaves fans even more in despair then before it kicked off.
Regarding Vita, wouldn't it be worth putting him in a few U23 games to try and keep his sharpness up? He did at least get in a few good positions despite not playing in his natural position.
Glad I didn’t watch it. Saw the team and didn’t mind it too much, thought vita and brittain would be playing on their preferred sides and be told to get balls into the front two. Then I find the plan is to create chances for full backs rather than strikers. But have to question the attitude of the players to concede 4 goals in 45 minutes against 10 men from league 2.
