Good header by Andersen and I don't remember him doing much wrong, but maybe that's because he's clearly a nice bloke and I forgive him more readily, not sure. The defence was appalling so he can't have played very well. Carlton Morris is a proper player, he should have scored three, but the two he got were quality. Coles' goal was excellent but he's an awful, awful player. Playing Brittain on the left and Vita on the right resulted in us missing bags of chances. They both looked capable of getting past the fullback and whipping in some crosses. They could both play for a century and never score, so no idea what wisdom there is in asking them to cut inside and shoot. There simply isn't any. Unless we want to see shots from six yards out that go backwards, which we got. The rest? Moon is bad, or at best not ready, Kitching is truly dreadful, the others not much better. Torn apart by a League 2 side with 10 men until Barrow eventually ran out of steam. We won but I see very little to celebrate. There was certainly entertainment and some quality goals for both sides, but our team can't play football to a standard anywhere close to what is required to compete effectively in the Championship.
Very very harsh. I like the look of him. For a young player, making his debut in a struggling side, he did well.
Young Banger scored a goal at Oakwell of which Banger Senior would've have been proud. Cole's goal was quality too. He brought it down well, controlled it and curled it around a defender into the top corner.
Surely Morris won’t be with us when we’re in league 1? We very much need him to be but he’s too good for that league.
Barrow quite impressed me - they probably have one of the smallest budgets in the league but always tried to play decent football If they had a bit more quality going forward they would have mullered us. Possibly the worst victory I have ever witnessed. Absolutely shameful from us.
