    Solid half. Look fairly comfortable at the back although their point blank header was a bit strange. Not sure how caressed it to Collins when he should have burst the net.

    We’re playing some decent football, trying to get the ball out wide, but ultimately lacking a bit of finesse or quality. Can tell we’re a new team still getting to know each other.

    Thomas has been a real threat as our only player who can turn and run at the opposition at pace. Scaring them to death.

    Aitchison is a terrier with a touch of class about him. Really unlucky not to score and some other brilliant touches.

    No complaints really other than we need to up the tempo two or three notches and try and break quicker without the 60 yard diagonal ball. Good half of football to build on.

    Looked ok. Winning ball back fairly easily. Luke Thomas MOTM so far for me. Usual story, toothless in last third.

    So far so good. A much improved performance and Cheltenham look very slow and vulnerable down their left, our right. Cannot complain about the ref for once, booking three cynical challenges. Thomas looks a new player. More of that please. All they need to do now is score. That still never looks likely.

    Lets face it theres alot tougher opponents in this league than Cheltenham we look toothless upfront and a few players need there eyes testing are the coulor blind? Were playing in red... aitchinson and thomas playing well

    I agree while heartedly liked Thomas but he lost his way
    Aitchison is doing well-for me, score today and it will do his confidence good.

    Pretty poor for me. Loads of aimless long balls to nobody.
    Odd bit of decent footy. Aichison and Thomas look OK.
    Benson & Styles - sound like a sh.it 70's cop show and playing like it too.

    Need to stop with the long aimless diagonal balls. Without a target man they are pointless. Otherwise fairly solid. Mads & Kitching our weak links, look very shaky.

    Good positive first half just lacking that touch of quality around the penalty area, need to try and pick a man out instead of smacking it across goal, plenty of bodies forward so looking promising.

    This. Let's put it into context, Cheltenham are likely to be bottom 4 come the end of the season. We look slightly better against a **** team. Much tougher opponents to come.

    There have been a couple of times where Barnsley have had a free kick in the opposition half or a throw in in line with the penalty area and they've just passed it all the way back to Collins, unchallenged. I don't understand that at all.

    He has been a lot better than last week but I’d still say Thomas has been our best player. Team is Much improved on last week but whether they really are better or Cheltenham are worse is a debatable point probably a bit of both.
