    Some of the players really struggle to pass the ball to our own players. Kitching especially.

    He at least behaves like a proper striker with his movement, which keeps them on their toes. Some nice moments but needs another couple of games fitness wise.

    Works hard though which is refreshing.

    Not sure this is a 'we should be beating teams like...' in this case Cheltenham.

    More like... I don't think it's unreasonable to believe that Cheltenham will probably be at the bottom end of the division. So if we can't beat them at home then there is genuine cause for concern that we may also be relegation candidates.

    They gave Posh a right game last week. Stormed in to a 2-0 lead. Comfortably mid table last season as well I think.

    Thanks for the match updates everyone. Listening on iPlayer audio in Majorca, good commentary but not the same as being there. We booked it thinking we’d be back for the season opener forgetting the season started early due to the November World Cup! First opener we’ve missed in nearly 30 years :cool:

    Mental first ten minutes to the second half. Definitely upped the tempo and should have managed to get the opening goal, but again that extra bit of finesse or quality lacking.

    Strangely we’ve suddenly become really subdued and slowed the pace down with Cheltenham getting on top. Hopefully the subs (Cole and Marsh) get us back on the front foot. So much space out wide to exploit - need to move it much quicker.

    Madds played a first time ball to Styles earlier that was out of this world. Incredible. Should have done better

    Don’t disagree. But I wouldn’t write them off as an awful side or a walkover either. We’ll have easier afternoons too.
