RE: Tolcaster Probably Don't Charge That Much........

They should make it into a weekly magazine like a Beano for example. You can have much more detail in the main story and then more besides. Anyway when Simon Davey leaves under whatever circumstances, I will start a campaign to get in the Tolcaster manager...........

Maybe, but he would probably try and bring in Dave Storey and he's the type of 20 goals a season man we need :D :D :D

    A win by any means

even a scrappy 1 niler would help restore some confidence, wouldnt be surprised to see a loan signing to help freshen things up a bit.

    Whats difficult to understand,

is the sudden change back to the "hopeful" punt up the park.

    Its bewildering.

Still see Muller throwing the ball out

JCR is closed down quickly now, teams done their homework. Howard needs to be much further forward, losing early goals doesnt help, means less likely to be patient.

Closing down of a player doesnt stop you laying it off,

the players were moving and looking for the ball , in the last couple of games thats all stopped.

JCR has provided practically no threat , and I think its the opposite in that teams have realised that they dont need to close him down and put more than one man on him as he cant get the ball passed the fullback. This has meant that the middle is more congested as teams can place another man in there without any fear.

I do agree though that Howards needs to be further up the field to any damage though.

    JCR does generally make space

his crossing hasnt been brilliant, but we look dangerous when he has the ball close to the opposition penalty area. if we had Stan finding space in the box, I think we'd be scoring mroe goals. if he's out for a period of time, I think we'll bring a striker in, ideally before Saturday.

Do you think we will bring one in before Saturday?

If we stick with the current two, we'll struggle.

Who would you go for S.M ?

We definitely need to strengthen, I'm sure Davey can see that. I just hope he doesn't keep his faith in our current strikeforce, as while they do need to be given chances, they are misfiring at the moment and we need someone to come in and make the other forwards step up their game

    In my opinion

for what its worth, I'd go for someone with experience at Championship level or above, not a youth from the Premiership reserve ranks. Someone like Andy Cole, did a great job at the business end of Birminghams season, not in Sunderlands starting 11, needs games I'd imagine. Could work for both sides for a month. Failing that, Kabba (Watford) or Mckenzie (Coventry) are 2 players I've always rated and not currently getting a game for their clubs.

Im sure Davey's got someone in mind, he watches more games than most managers in the League.

Tough on us Season Ticket holders

You'd think they'd run to giving us a free Boovril at half-time as compensation!

    Or,

They should knock some money off next seasons renewals.

15 quid is still more than I pay a game as a Season Ticket holder.
