Yea....another very poor and very predictable second half.
Charlton didn't have to be that great (and they weren't) but they looked far more likely to add to their tally, no complaints from me....congrats Valliants.

 

Very frustrating to lose a game to a horrific give away goal.

 

If the other thread is correct about admin...clarkes job is safe until it happens, he then becomes a creditor
Away from that, tonight's game / tactics absolutely gash

improving on the basics is too late that should have been drilled down first few months of season, once you get to this stage patterns just carry on how its been going

 

6 wins wouldn’t get us much higher than we are now. More like 8 from 11 and there’s zero chance of that.

Charlton weren't terrible. They weathered our 5 minute 'storm' then just like Stockport the other week, just ambled in 2nd gear for 85 mins.
Cos there was no need whatsoever to shift up.

If I say I've heard a billionaire is actively looking to buy us, does that mean "talk of major invesment"?

One thing that is a bit concerning is that at half time, if we are being honest, it was **** or bust. The season is now most definitely gone.

the turgid second half display certainly did not indicate a rousing motivational half time team talk…not one that worked anyhow.

Honestly thought we were half decent first half with DkD looking class but then the second half and substitutions happened and we look lost with no shape no threat and basically no idea.

A mistake the difference but once we went 1-0 down we never looked likely to get an equaliser. The Earl injury is a real concern, I hope it’s not too serious. Also our Jan recruitment is looking worse by the week, we need answers on that from Mladen.

Yeah, it makes you wonder, when you look at the Rotherham and Northampton games with 10 and 9 minutes respectively. Agree though, we probably wouldn’t have scored if we’d played while tomorrow night

 

What concerns me most ...is the summer no doubt there will be a clear out that will enable us lighten the wage bill considerably but I shudder to think the replacements we have lined up......more car boot replacements I reckon.
