    As long as the defenders get a kick up the backside and not glossed over their lack of professionalism in both goals and the unnecessary panicking leading to brain freezes .

    For 20 or so minutes in the second half it looked like we almost had something going.

    Derby looked woeful, but they've probably got enough very expensive flashes of skill to make sure they'll do OK this season. Really wish we hadn't given them such an easy ride with those two goals, because with hindsight that was probably winnable even with our attacking options.

    I agree. It was much improved in second half. I like the fact we didn't capitulate.

    Without the signing of two strikers who can play and score at this level we will be lucky to stay out of the relegation spots. Also if Helik is sold we need some strengthening in defense because what we have in numbers we lack in ability. To be brutally honest the recruitment for the past 4 windows as been atrocious whether it's been via the Cryne jnr spreadsheet or Conway's punts in the dark.

    50 points and safety is my only objective at minute and i hope Duff gets what he needs recruitment wise or we will have another unhappy manager trying to run the team with one arm tied behind his back and ready to move on.

    A good striker would make all the difference, the defence is always under pressure because if we concede first we are always struggling.

    Skilful midfielder required and two strikers or we will be in the bottom half all season . Kitching is also crap I’ve no confidence in him whatsoever

    I thought we looked quite good, in patches.

    Norwood and Aitchison both missed big chances and I don’t remember Collins having to do too much apart from pick the ball out of the net. Could be wrong though.

    There’s a big gap from the teams at the top to teams near the bottom of this league. Even if we don’t sign any strikers before September (I think we will do), we’ll not be close to getting relegated.

    Yeah, didnt see any BBS messages about Benson pulling one back, saw the update on BBC, posted it, surprised at the reaction. If it is deemed to be a banning offence then so be it. It wasnt a deliberate wind up.

    Benson and Connell look skilful enough to me . I think it’s pace that we lack so I’m hoping that one of Marsh, Jalo, etc can come good quicker than expected
