well yeh really, i think he did what most people might have. The other guy probably had it coming. doing some time though was nailed on to be a possibility so i think he just go to accept it and get on with it. Fight smart next time.

And I'm very aware of what's happening in the courts and prisons old chap including, as I posted earlier the attempt to deal more robustly with domestic violence. I'm aware that the CPS will now often continue with a prosecution using the victim's original statement if she retracts her complaint. All good moves.</p>
