    When it became obvious that his contract wasn't going to be renewed at Barnsely, he probably had a quick look around to see where Keith was. From that precise moment, he probably started to get a bit morngy about the inevitable predicament he would find himself in.

    It wasn't exactly your typical new signing "im delighted to be here" interview was it? He was gutted, thought he was going to cry at one point.

    Reight ****** for signing Wiseman, McNulty, Golbourne, Perkins, Cranie, Dawson, Etuhu, Mellis, Dagnall etc.
    And Vaz Te and Davies. And playing Butterfield in a free role. And beating Leeds home and away as well as being the most entertaining interviewee.
    .
    Yes, I do remember Mido, Nouble etc. And him taking the fanbase on and generally acting a lovely person and above his station.
    I just thought some perspective was needed.
    I mean, he wasn't as bad as a lot of you make out. Simple as that really.

    Hill made some good signings and some bad ones.

    But the ultimate thing a manager lives and dies by is RESULTS.

    Hill was abysmal in points tally and when things were going "down hill", rather than keep the fans on his side, he turned against them.
