If the majority of us did the same in our lines of work we'd most likely be instantly dismissed. They certainly wouldn't be saying 'we cant sack you because you're a top salesman, top teacher, top policeman etc etc etc' Why do we need to go after him for his failing as a health secretary (which there are many btw) when his actions quite clearly are beyond the threshold of acceptable behaviour in pretty much all forms of working life?
Lucky you, unfortunately my experience is that most people can't wear a mask properly and seem to struggle with basic measurements. Glad your experience has been better than mine though
‘As much as he may be a little weasel. Having an affair doesn't amount to an abuse of power nor demand public outcry. Pulling at straws if this is what people want to bring him down with, it is his personal life, nothing to do with politics. By all means refer to policy and decisions he may have made. That is the right way to go about things’ Above is You’re initial post in this thread, no misinterpretation here, you said go after him for his failings as the Health Secretary, which is what has happened, only the Tories, their apologists and yourself seem to deem this as personal and private and nothing to do with politics. when many posts on this thread have explained why it’s not personal and private and indeed happened whilst he was on duty in his role as Home Secretary and very much part of his role and therefore a failing in his policies and and decisions. Again and again this is not separate from his public role. Pulling at straws my @rse, for goodness sake stop digging
This whole affair stinks from top to bottom. The snogging and groping is a sideshow. She was employed by the British people, she was also an ex lobbyist who helped get her brother big gain private health contracts. Top to bottom rotten. I'm sure her brother is appalled by his sister's actions. Or is he just a upper-class version of a pimp?
Agree with him about the NHS. He could have typed the start of the letter that he has wrote in pen. I suspect tomorrow's papers will have lots of new stuff maybe some photos from when he was at it a second time earlier this week.
1.thats clearly written by his PR team and he's simply Hand written the relevant bits in 2. No it's not your private life you morally bankrupt little **** it's your work life. It's you hiring your old school friend, giving her brother some cash and then shagging her over the desk at work 3. Oh we all know how you've thanked your colleagues Matt. You've thanked one particular colleague with three fingers and 3 inches you slimy little *****. You've been forced to resign now I wish you nothing but a slow painful and extremely lonely death. You've killed thousands, you've handed many more thousands a death sentence. Let's hope you have one too. See ya Matt, rot in hell
Someone who appears to want normality so it might not be a bad thing. Paddington not Crewe as he said.
It would be a horrendous thing! He’s a horrible, horrible person but he’s effective at getting what he wants. He managed to privatise huge amounts of schools very quickly with 78% of secondary schools now being academies.
Voted to reduce welfare spending, reduce integration, voted for gerrymandering, voted to increase university fees, to end financial support for students, for privatising education, voted against keeping the Charter of Fundamental Rights after Brexit, voted to remove the human rights act, voted to kill badger, voted against measures to prevent climate change, voted to privatise Britain's forests, voted in favour of unlimited fees from landlords to renters, to restrict legal aid for those who need it, voted to privatise royal mail, voted against requiring multinational companies having to publish their tax details, voted against giving the authorities powers to prevent tax avoidance, voted for mass surveillance of the public, voted for privatising sections of the NHS, voted against the mansion tax for the wealthy, voted against higher taxes for the rich, voted against increasing capital gains tax and for increasing VAT tax, voted against spending money to find young people work, voted to reduce government support for council tax payments. Make no mistake about it the man is evil and only serves to protect the interests of him and his rich mates.
On reflection, perhaps my experience has been better because most of my relatives and friends are Remainers. So it’s possibly a matter of intellect
So are mine, I'm talking about people when I go to work and shopping and the likes... I agree with your comment about intellect.
You've obviously not met my sister in law... It wasn't meant seriously, I'm not at all a violent person.
And now there is a government investigation into who leaked the information that the public should know about. If it wasn't for the leak the public would be oblivious to the fact that Hancock broke his own rules with a tax-funded 'friend'. The Government is effectively unhappy that the truth came out. Shock horror.
