Honest question, do you think Sheffield United or Bristol city are likely interested in buying him with a view to him starting straight away? A player who cannot get into an average league one team currently? Or do you think they are more likely to be interested in signing his potential, and would likely loan him out after buying him to league one or two to continue his development?
Young player not getting game time at his loan club being linked in rumours to be interesting clubs higher up the food chain? Has the whiff on an agent's grubby mitts all over it.
Good player but he's a similar player to both Connell and Nwakali and right now he's no better than either. If he was he should play and whether he's on loan or not shouldn't make any difference, but he's not, he's either about on par or not quite as good. So it's a no brainier, you play your own players. He might go on to be a great player but we've got a couple of others who are at least as good as the level he's at right now.
He may not play much to begin with, but if bigger and more successful clubs see his potential, it's a wonder we can't. Watch him be another for the category of loan not working out, but having a very good career.
He is a good player. His mix of skills might be a better fit with another team than ours at the moment. The fact that we are not currently picking him doesnt mean he is a poor player, it just means he is not the best fit currently.
Begs the question why we ever signed him, for a club that's forever skint with owners pumping millions in we don't half seem to waste money. I'm all for quality loan players but they should be for positions that we actually need. Good luck to Craig if he moves on.
I suspect that they signed him because they knew we didn't have as many midfielders as the fans were led to believe we had
Id definitely be recalling him back if I were spurs. He was the only one having a decent game in midfield before coming off
I thought he was ***** and his attitude after, and now, sat in the dugout at half time shows what a prat he is
He's signing autographs for the kids in front of the east stand now with a smile on his face. He must have put his dummy back in
His attitude? He looked fuming he was coming off before half time, exactly how any professional should look and feel. Ofcourse he should be fuming? Everyone has an opinion but genuinely I think youre just wrong on his performance mate. Wasn't out of this world but atleast he was holding onto the ball and actually picking passes out, even forwards at times was by far the best performing midfield pre-sub. I know you won't because its been awful but if you do watch the game back, watch him in particular and I think you'd actually change your mind, especially when comparing him to what Russell & Nwakali were like.
How? What did he actually do wrong other than a dodgy header? He looked so bad he looked out of his depth? Just don't believe that for a second
out of all the talent in the prem youth ranks our scouts came back with Craig and Slothinka, both garbage
