I am talking about his career. Unfortunately as you ably demonstrate the level of education around statistical analysis in this country is woeful.

Do you want me to crayon it for you.

Watters 5 starts. 5 goals. 1 every 90 minutes in terms of starts.
    Cole 25 in 72 starts 1 every 216 minutes.

before this season. 63 games as a starter 22 goals so a goal every 257(ish) minutes prior to this season.

Watters - 642 mins, 4 goals and 2 assists last season

That's the equivalent of 7 games, most coming on as sub having to get into a game. Hardly ***** last season.

By my calculation Watters has played 973 minutes for us in normal league games, the equivalent of 10.81 games. He has scored 5 goals in those 973 minutes. That equates to a goal every 2.16 games. Not bad!

If Max or any other player reads this board, it's on them. It a place for fans to vent so hopefully it's out of the system so when at a game they get behind the team.

F**k all. There's a spare seat in front of me in the Ponty that he'd could put 100% effort in to occupying.

I prefer to remember the well taken winner against our closest rivals in one of the all time great Oakwell games personally.

Fair enough to question his all-round contribution. But he certainly is quick. That's pretty clear.

I actually think admin should be removing posts like this.. or at least amending the title. There is a big difference between stating that you're not sure a player is at the standard we need and referring to them as 'complete garbage'.

Knowing what level of work and commitment it takes to even get an opportunity at any level of football, the level of disrespect is unreal.

Working hard is what most people's problem is with him. He simply doesn't work hard at least not on the football pitch. He may do in training but frankly that isn't where it matters

Watters and Cosgrove need to play Tuesday, both players look rusty.

Why do people write players off so early? Granted he’s not been up to speed this season so far but he showed what he’s capable of last season. Sheff wed goal at home off the bench, the two at mk dons. The lad clearly has ability, he’s obviously a confidence thing. Look at Devante for example?

And also Styles, I seem to remember some members on here slating him only recently and now he’s the best thing since slice bread. I always believe you don’t become a bad player over night, there’s always other factors behind why a player might be going through bad form.

Get behind em, getting results at the minute and the head coach is still finding his way in this league

Probably the fastest player we have. He's also worked very hard this season and when he doesn't start our press in the opponent's half of the field doesn't happen because there's only him and Cole that can do it.

I'm not going to pretend he's been playing well this season because he hasn't, yet, but he's done a lot more than he's credited for and some of the criticism is just wrong.

Almost everyone was criticising Cole of not working hard even at the start of this season, they seem to have gone quiet as he’s scoring at the moment.

Cole was our top scorer last season and the best striker at the club but people still said he was *****, before that victor was the scapegoat who made something like 12 starts at the club in 4 years but the exact same people who are saying watters stats are good were on at those 2.
I hope watters comes good but I haven't been impressed so far. I couldn't believed we sent marsh out on loan who looked more lively from the bench. Career stats are OK but playing from non league sides boosts the stats up alot.
