The burning question is, who decided to give him a lucrative lengthy contract? We saw enough last season to steer well clear, but no, we thought it wise to throw c.£1m at getting him back long term. Lunacy.
I don't think he is great but it would be a idea to see if the next man thinks he cam work with him. Maybe it's effort that is letting him down.
I'm genuinely interested in what you saw in him last season because to be honest I didn't see it, opinions eh. He's Played under Duff Collins and now Devaney and non seem to rate him not even making the match day squad on many occasions, I get the confidence thing but there must be more too it surely
His sending off against Port Vale told us all we need to know about this guy. I was amazed when we offered him a 3 year deal.
Imho im disappointed we offered him the 3 year deal. As a footballer...I don't see much there...the way he plays (call it game intelligence) is not what i look for in a striker. He doesn't seem to link up well nor does his body shape look effective when he gets on the ball. He probably will score a few but he is with the wrong team for his talents. I've heard some say he's like a kid running around, chasing an empty crisp packet on a windy day and seems half a yard off the pace of the game....I think thats cruel but not for me thanks.
Just my opinion but I reckon Cole has had a move lined up since January and has played within himself to protect his next and probably last big move pay wise .........sithi.
Confidence player, reckon he's got bags of ability but hardly transfers that into his performances, he'll slide down the league's and disappear completely before he's 30 unless someone can turn him around.........sithi.
I’ve been one of Watters biggest critics. He’s simply not been good enough and by any measure I think he’s been a terrible signing. The goal against Wednesday was probably the most profitable goal he will ever score. I wish him all the best, but he needs to find another club for me.
I’m not saying he was brilliant. I just don’t think he was awful. I just don’t think the way we have played this season has helped him at all. I also think the “lack of effort” stick that has been waved at him is untrue.
Your making the same excuse for watters as you got salty about earlier that people were making for Cole..
I thought there was something in Watters. His shots to goals ratio was something around 25%, and his minutes per goal is 218 compared to 204 and 205 for Cole and McAtee. I think we've done poorly providing a decent supply of opportunities for our forwards all season, part of that does appear to be lack of effort, but I don't think that's all there is to it.

Are you joking no one gets more stick than Cole there's a thread a game about him which everyone piles on and says how **** he is. The blokes had to delete his socials because of it. I remember vic leaving and fans on social giving it good riddance, thank **** etc. It's just the same with cole. Asking what a player who's getting paid about 4k a week by the club for doing nothing is not abuse its just asking where he is.
