Or lose form

You're right though, we've got to give those two at least 10 or 15 games together to see if they can strike up a successful partnership.

I don't understand why people complain so much about our strikeforce really. As mentioned at this forum earlier on there were only something like three 20 + a season strikers in this division last season. When I look at Macken's stats he scored 8 goals for us in 28 (1) games last season, but remeber he needed a few games last season before getting fit and scoring goals. I think he will get somewhere around 12 - 15 this season if fit. Also Hume scored 11 goals for a relegated side last season playing a lot out of position. I think he also could get 15 goals this season, and thats not bad.

Of course if we lose one or both to injury we will struggle and there would be nice to have at least one more quality striker with us from the start of the season. My point is just that Macken and Hume are not the worst striking force in this division and will get a fair share of goals if played regulary.

    sorry for any writing errors....

Totally agree, think that Macken will score a fair few for us this season with a full season to play for us. Still not sure about Hume, think he will need a decent midfield behind him, which most games is non-existant, but i've only seen him play once for us so hopefully i'll be wrong.

    It beggars belief.

Yet he still has trialists coming down.

I'm not so sure he's finished just yet else why bother looking at players?

I also think Mostto and KO will contribute more this season. Mostto was totally new to the english style of playing football last season and his confidence got a bit shattered when he never scored. This season when playing more off the bench without the preasure and also by knowing the style of football better than last year will make him chip in with a few more goals this season. At least that is my point of view.

KO is an excellent player until he is about to put it into the nett. I think he will chip in more goals this season off the bench and without the preasure on him. He is big, fast and strong and will tear defences apart when comming on at the latter stages of the game.

Its a bit of a gamle by Davey if he doesn't bring in another striker of quality, but this might be the reason why he will open with the strike force that we currently got.
