Would a newly promoted championship side want him if he does the business for Portsmouth?

Given the number of relatively easy chances he's missed in front of goal, I'm not really surprised
that Struber has his doubts about him. Having said that, I agree with you in that we ought to get
more than we paid for him. If we do go down and he does return to Oakwell, he could be effective
in League One, given that he had a decent season during our promotion campaign.

I think stay up or go down. Ritzmaier will be Mowatt’s replacement under Struber.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mowatt leave this window, I think Struber will start leaving him out the team.

Firstly he’s taken him off the set pieces when Odour is playing, then he’s moved him out of his position to fit Ritzmaier. Now Cauley is fit again where does that leave Mowatt under Struber? I just think Mowatt was filling into Cauleys spot.

Could be and I hope I’m wrong but we’ll see I suppose.

I agree Pompey will be hard to beat, a couple of our good sides in the past have won there but others aint, I predict a draw at best.

Depends if they want to be relegated or not...... But in all seriousness i think league 1 is his level, it wont stop teams taking a chance on him if he does well tho.

What the **** do you expect him to say to a Portsmouth based paper?

    You people are ridiculous.

He’s a Barnsley player! AND he has the option to keep it shut. Bet you didn’t think about the keeping it shut bit though eh?

Not really. He trains with Portsmouth, plays games for Portsmouth. He’s a Portsmouth player until
    The end of the season.

I’d hope so but hard to see it with two what you could call failed attempts at championship level

I would hope that a player still contracted to is beyond this season to be magnanimous towards his employers. Not a lovely person.

Usually I find McGeehan fairly intelligent in his interviews but he could’ve been a lot more tactful in these comments.

I know he didn’t have the best first half seasons with us this season but he must be wondering how he can’t get in our side.
