Well if so it doesn't say much for Andy Ritche and McCarthy

Perhaps he needs a Premiership "Big" manager to keep in him check. Unfortunately he's not premiership standard, so he's doomed to go round the lower leagues acting like the big "I am".

I don't care anyway, I am just glad we're shut of the pillock.

    RE: id have him back

he would upset the dressing room before long, we didn't see that because he wasn't there long enough.

Fair play but I think its fair to say he was our best player last season

in the time he played for us.

Whether he would have or not is another thing, but the guy did what he was paid to do and he was missed when he went. We never had anyone close to filling the gap he left. Ferenczi would have had a field day playing alongside him.

I'd have him back like a shot

Would have been our top scorer last season had he stayed. Very consistent. Very professional player. Helped his left back out and ran forever. Clearly he is not the most popular but who cares.

Well if he was that bad, it's doubtful if Davey would wear him

    So, err there you go.

Did Ritchie realy want him though?

He was signed whilst Ritchie was out of the country.

I do believe that Ritchie did want him, after all, he had witnessed him running rings round us for several games when we played Donny.

    McIndoe was class.

All this stuff about him not getting on with the others is all hypothetical.

    It could be true, yes.

But, no one knows for sure, unless we were there and actually witnessed it.

Having said that, to move to Bristol City so suddenly as he did, was a very bizarre move.

    Agree

He is class and too good to turn down.

I wonder if he was offered back to us via his agent?.

It would be worth finding that out.

Thing about McIndoe that irritates me is that he underlines the fact that in football right now, you can be second rate and have an awful attitude and still make a massive amount of money.

He has the ability to probably play in the top flight - but his application and attitude will mean that he will never get there unless there is a massive change. Despite this, he will probably retire as a millionaire. Shocking.
