Keep him fit and he will be a very useful squad player, we need in my eyes 6 or 7 capable defenders.

I agree, he has pace, can pass, can play in midfield, Lleft back or centre half. He's had no worse season then the rest of the defence. I love the defend foster to the hilt brigade will slab off anyone criticising him but can't wait to moan about mcnulty. In my opinion mcnulty is better.

I thought McNulty looked good at left back when he first came. Most people I know dont like him at all and I must confess at CB he has made some obvious blunders but I think he is technically a potentially good defender and in my book at left back

He had a fairly decent first season for us, not so good this season bar a couple of games but he has been injured on and off all season. His ability to play in a few positions makes him a keep for me, although I do think CB, where he has played most for us, is his worst position, particularly in a 4.

If we can keep him fit, McNulty is an asset and is definately worth a contract. However, he has missed most of this season with injury and his past record is not exactly encouraging

McNulty was managed terribly by Hill this season, as along with Wiseman, he played them when they were going through seriously bad patches.

Some players can play through this and are unaffected, others need some time out of the first team to re-coup. McNulty needed time out cos he was making error after error.

He needs to buckle down, grow thicker skin and get a good pre-season completed.......then he could feature either at left back, centre half or sweeper. Of course he can play midfield, but we have plenty of cover here don't we?

He's a RED and we support him.
