Calling footballers by their nicknames is wrong in the first place, just as bad as the following: Pretending you're friends with footballers Having a footballers name on the back of your shirt after your 14th birthday Thinking Jim McNulty/McNumpty is a footballer
He was pretty good in his first season with us in my opinion, especially before the turn of the new year, and i'm sure the majority on here thought that at the time, but then the manager lost the plot and the TEAM started what was a pathetic run of form throughout 2012, so it was all too easy to get on players backs. Don't understand the Mcnulty criticism because he was injured the majority of last season, after being given the captains armband, which was met with great appraisal in my opinion.
This is right up there with the best thread ever on the bbs, lets not slag off our own players posting whilst in the title slagging him off. Genius.
McNulty will be an asset this season. If he keeps fit I'm sure he will. I did think when he first came and had a few games at left back he looked very good actually. He was injured most of last season and he will produce the goods. Watch this parking space
I hope so. Personally, the weakness I see in McNulty is that he needs to have "thicker skin" and be more focused. Quite often he gets flustered with crowd, opponents, etc when he should simply concentrate and focus on his game. I hope he has a good season but I am not confident to pin any hopes on him, whereas other players you can be much more confident in their game-to-game performances ie. Perkins, Dawson, Golbourne, etc. Wish the lad best of luck and let's hope we're singing his praises!
