    Some odd and slightly disrespectful comments about Mcphail on here.

    He was a fantastic player for Barnsley. I havent seen a player for BFC as good at dictating the pace of a game as Mcphail was. He didnt need pace, when on the ball he seemed to have all the time in the world.

    After his time with us he played over 200 games for Cardiff who were a top end Championship club. Really good career for any footballer never mind a bloke who had to battle cancer with 7 years of his career still to play.

    Donovan was right footed so that isn't the fairest of comparisons.
