    That’s how I saw it. Loads to work on but they did well to grind it out. Again. Bland is a Rolls Royce.

    Wins a win, but fk me - that was closer than they had any right for it to be. Fair play to Reading for digging in and making a game of it but we should have won that by 3 or 4.

    Another 3 points. Bland showing whys he’s one of the first on the team sheet. Unfortunately, Russell showing exactly why he isn’t. If that’s his idea of coming on and grafting for the team, I fear he’s not gonna feature much.

    A very pleasing 3 points, but deary me our defence needs to start improving!

    Defense was ok, nothing shocking other than a moment of madness from Earl, which fortunately we didn't get punished for. Got Rooney to come in too, who's actually right footed so should be a big plus. Absolute howler from Murphy for first, and looked like he could have done better for second, though that might be harsh as I haven't seen it back yet.

    Thought Ogbeta was outstanding today, both defensively and offensively.

    Tremendous effort. Connell and Bland immense. Players clearly playing for Hourihane. Ogbetta, Keillor Dunn and Vickers got through some right mileage.

    Please can we never see Jon Russell ever again. Absolute travesty that he's keeping Kelly off the bench.

    Yeah thought it may have been bud. Usually he's an excellent shot stopper with his reflexes so assumed it wasn't as saveable as I first thought
