That was tripe.

 

Let's credit Carlisle, they made it tough for us in that first half but we found a way to win. Not pretty at all but we keep going. A couple more additions in key areas and hopefully we can push on.

 

We were quite often on the receiving end of that in the championship

they played really well and can consider themselves unfortunate not to get anything

full credit to them.

Roger Melly reporting here, on this lovely warm summer night. It was a brilliant 100 minute performance by the super Tykes, and a totally deserved win!.
Hey Tom, nobody is going to believe this total crap, where's my real f*ing script!!.

 

-brilliant to pick up 3 pts well done for not having heads go down when we were getting battered
-God I hope Cole doesn’t get sold. Negligence to let him go
-up to 5th and only 3pts behind autos and we have pines to look forward to filling a hell of a lot of gaps
-fee sorry for Shepherd but the manager needed to protect him and get him out of the limelight
-it’s shocking Carlisle are second bottom they looked a good team
-I bloody love John McAtee
-UREDS

 

Phew.

Not pretty but well done to the players and manager for turning that around in the second half. Credit to Carlisle for a tough game and hopefully they can turn their season around.

 

That 90 minutes really sucked the f*cking life out of me.

 

Third division tripe an all

 

Really poor first half. We were much the better team 2nd half although Carlisle were no where near as energetic/good as the first half.

 

If we'd held on against Wigan & Peterborough we'd be top. We definitely need another CB, ideally with pace & height but most of all experience.

 

We played them through one on one, three times in the first 5 minutes. You say unfortunate, I say dogger…

 

And another game won from a losing position

 

Got to feel a bit for the Carlisle supporters, their long trip home will seem even longer knowing that they should have had the game done and dusted in that first 15 minutes

 

Comeback kings

 

No idea what's going on this season, but I'm happy to ride this wave as far as it goes!

Just imagine if they actually started playing as well as we know they can.

 

I'm going to say well done reds, as we have 3 points from what looked like improbable at half time.
I questioned the half time subs but they did improve us and we stretched them a lot more....so well done Collins.
Pat on the back for Williams with that through ball for Cole.
Defence still a worry and they worked us bloody hard...felt sorry for Shepherd who really should not be playing at this level just yet.
Feels like we got away with one tonight but I've had that feeling quite a lot...but hey ho 3 points.
