    Really weird game. We were very lucky to win but at the same time could have scored 4 or 5.

    Phew, strange game that, thought we looked a bit lethargic in the first half, decent second half had enough chances to win 2 games.
    Happy with the clean sheet and 3 points, these yellow cards are stacking up already

    How we’ve won that one nil I’ll never know.

    Could and should have been three or four and then that late chance for them wouldn’t matter.

    Three points and a clean sheet will do me every day of the week though.

    Another game, other circumstances, we could have easily had 6.

    But I don't care. It's a win, it's a decent 2nd half performance, and towards the end, we battled hard to keep the 3 points.

    The only disappointment, is Stevenage scoring 2 in last few minutes, Cardiff also an injury time winner, and we sit 3rd instead of 1st

    Finally a clean sheet!

    Not our best performance, in fact possibly our worst of the season but we showed door strength in defence.

    Josh Earl was a rock. Kelly was everywhere. Watson looked incredibly solid. Vickers was brilliant with the ball at his feet and also his pressing.

    This season is exciting.

    My mate, who is a blunt said when we signed McGoldrick that he was the most enjoyable player he’s been able to watch week in and week out at the Lane. He then went on to say he misses some proper sitters and if he could finish, he’d have been at one of the top clubs (obviously when he was in his 20s).

    It’s exactly what I’ve seen so far. He could have have 5 or 6 this season already.

    Imho.......played well second half should have won more convincingly...they huffed and puffed but lacked big time in the final third.
    We looked more classy too, Kelly had a great second period.

    Good win, not best performance but plenty of chances even when not at our best. Watson wasn’t terrible but I think Bland has the RB spot nailed down. Kelly energetic, Connell always stuck in, Vickers was good but maybe should’ve come off ten mins earlier imo.
