Brilliant from us but Port Vale are wide open and giving us all the time in the world, this could be another 7 goals if they don't tighten up in the second half.
Imho...fully deserved, loads of space in midfield and upto front two....which has been exploited. Vale not pressing and we look like we have a killer pass every time.
Coles one of the few players who has a good half wins headers, skins that debrah on more than one occasion, gets a assist and still fans want him dropped at half time.
Best 45 of the season I reckon that. The second half of port vale at home was a bit bizarre, scored every time we went forward without actually looking like playing well or needing to. I’d say whilst imperfect that first half was pretty good though. I’m not Collins’ biggest fan whatsoever but he got a win from behind against a team above us last game and has us dominating away from home here. Credit where it is due. Fair enough.
Because Luca isn’t that far back from long term absence, we have a huge game on saturday, he’s on a booking and at risk of a red, because it’s 3-0 and he doesn’t reckon much of their chances of getting back in it (or that they’ll really try to). Any one, several or all of the above.
Anyone know how they've brought on Ikpeazu despite him not being in their named matchday squad? Are they trying to get the game cancelled?
