They definitely appeared to. Completely stopped attacking us and just seemed to throw the towel in. Look at the kane goal for example they just stood watching as he strolled down the pitch. Bizarre really.
The defending for Kane's goal was outrageously bad, I completely agree. Just a good illustration of the general level of League 1.
And you buddy, all the best. Nice to be able to have an opposite view on something, have a playful jibe and still be nice. We’re all hoping for the same thing at the end of the day. Merry Christmas to you and all of yours
That's an interesting point about us sacking managers during the season, and replacing them. Does it never work or even rarely work out well for us ?. Well for me, I think its half and half and there's been a mix of good and bad.
That's what I like about Fonzie. He's clearly blind and knows nowt about football but he will give reasons for his views and accepts others disagree as long as they have reasons. I actually prefer that than someone who agrees with me
What a disingenuous post. It wasn't me who wanted to give Schopp more time because I thought he was doing a decent job. Oh wait - it was.
Yeah - I thought it was wrong to sack him and we should have been patient. I can't remember whether Poya was better or worse, but even if he was worse, I can't imagine it proved me right haha.
That's the worst thing about that season for me, I can't remember which was worse out of the two of them either.
Hey mate, Merry Christmas. I'm going to go to a match in the Ponte End in the next month or so. I'll let you know.
In fairness I think he’s getting at sacking managers rather than someone choosing to leave. Most of the time when we struggle it’s down to recruitment or that we’ve often had too much player turnover & there’s a longer settling in period. To me it’s blindingly obvious that the issues on the pitch are down to the recruitment in defence.
