He looked really hurt when he was down, both Andersen and the physio were quite concerned, but I can't say I saw him limping, although I haven't been fully concentrating so I'm not claiming he wasn't.
See it out now lads, chuffed we've finally scored a couple but keep on it now and that'll be a nice confidence booster
Williams hasnt played for ages if he keeps him on 90 minutes and he pulls something people would have been moaning shouldnt have played the full game etc.
In no way was anything wrong with FGR disallowed goal. Had that been the other way round I'd be spitting feathers. Wasn't a foul on Collins at all.
Was much better than the first half. Only slight criticism of that second half is that the game wasn't put to bed much earlier, but they completely dominated that second 45, created plenty of chances and were head and shoulders above the opposition.
Good three points from a below average performance though I think it was all about the result today. They're probably the worst team we've played this season so I don't think we can take much from the game but we've stopped the rot and hopefully we've got a little more confidence for the next few games.
Was a good display 2nd half. When we get out of 2nd gear we could push for a top 6 finish. We're still in a better position than I thought playing average. God only knows where we could be if we can find some consistency .
I know FGR were poor in all areas of the pitch and didn't look like scoring (the disallowed one was 50/50 a foul maybe) but we finally put in a performance after an especially poor week. Three points out of three games when I was confidently expecting nine points. Oh well, maybe a win in the cup next week as well and the bandwagon will be rolling again. They lost 3-1 at home today so maybe we will take advantage of that. Today was another of those first to every ball and every second ball was going to us as well. Whether that was our pressing or the opposition's lack of skill and application I don't know but what I will say that it was good to watch. Williams definitely improved us and I hope he was only taken off because he was tired. Let's hope for a few more like that. There is enough poor opposition in this league for us to pick up plenty more wins and, of course, winning breeds confidence so I can see us staying in the top ten all season.
