    I wouldn't say its knee jerk exactly, but admittedly some of the comments today on here against Duff are bordering on 'insane' !. :eek:

    The thing is for me it isn't the same team, it's the same squad but not the same team. And that's the big worry really. We have a good first 11 for this league but a poor squad once a couple of injuries come in. This has been driven by a bizarre approach to signings which saw us sign half a dozen players in two positions and leave others completely bare.

    Fortunately I think that while Duff hasn't done anything to show himself to be the best manager ever or anything like that he has certainly done plenty to show he's better than the last two so I have confidence in him to get it right with time and patience.

    Totally agree that we've got a good core of players and think that we need to play more on the front foot to get the best out of them, hopefully after a steady start Duff will have us doing this.

    The team today deserved the half time boos and the even louder ones at full time. If Martin starts on Tuesday I will back us to lose. He's absolutely useless and is way off the pace. There was one moment today where he couldn't be bothered challenging for the ball down by our own seating area and he deserved the sea of swear words he got for it.
