We are if these owners stay but theres a reason for that. Barnsley is a footballing town in the premiership we had 19k a week, we took 34k to a f.a cup semi, took 30k to play off final sold 11k season tickets this year not saying were massive at all were not but for the size of the town theres potential.

Just shows how thick they are. The only reason they hate us is because we gained enough points to put them into the position of being relegated.

Once again owners borrowing on back of club , wages above incomings etc etc . how's a
All cliches , can’t expect them to think for themselves
    Exactly that
We sold just shy of 35,000 for our first Wembley appearance against Ipswich ,
A town with far less inhabitants than Wigan , Donny and whoever else wants to TRY and belittle our Club and History .
we sold over 33,000 for our semi final against Cardiff .
These clubs could never compete against enthusiasm like that only rich owners to subsidise them .
    No History No Base imo

Yes and since 2000 we have finished in the top 5 in championship once with no fans. If we had some success in the championship we could have built on those attendences wigan had a long spell in the prem and never gained much interest from the locals.

We almost matched Cardiff in fan sales who are a City and a capital city at that .
It’s fair to say if ever we were a top competitive side we could hold our own against the some of the best in our realm .
