Well Said!

I felt gutted today at the match - the Wednesday game was hard enough to take but I expected a bit of a fight back today, for some reason.

How wrong could I have been? I saw nothing, no passion, no creativity, no fight, nothing. The amount of un-challenged headers, balls just being punted in the air with no thought to where it would end up and just the complete lack of interest and commitment just made me feel so let down by them. Stupid eh? It's only a game, they're only doing their well paid jobs, only what I spend all my spare cash on but hey, they're getting their wages, so that's what counts - and only then, until another team wanders into their lives and they move on without a care.

And I'll still be there - week in, week out - I must be bloody stupid. I have more commitment to the cause than they will ever have. I feel gutted at the moment, hopefully things will turn round but I have a feeling they won't this time - still I'll be there. Why? Still don't know the answer to that one yet. Maybe I'll grow out of it!

Post of the day by a mile

I'm sure any Barnsley fan will share those views and I think it would be very nice to see what Davey and the players would think if they read that. I seriously think someone should send it to the club. Most people on here would put their name to that as the view of the fans, I certainly would. I think some at the club have forgotten just how much the success of Barnsley FC means to us.

    Your best ever post Kev...

    heartfelt and poignant.

Just a shame that it will be ignored by everyone at Oakwell as they hold the ordinary fan in contempt

    Sorry mate .

I DO appreciate your comments ( and everyone else's too ) . It's just that I drank a couple of bottles of French red wine and am now downing some red port to drown my sorrows .

Maybe they're being 'over-coached' by Davey and it

was much simpler for them under Ritchie when they could just have a kickabout and score a few goals.

    Facetious post.
