He is right

10 quid off isn't a massive drop and won't encourage too many single blokes to attend that didn't this season but combined with the free child places etc it will (or at least should) get more families and young people into oakwell. won't make much money extra (if any) this season but in the long run it wil get more people hooked and will pay off big time

What if they'd put them up by a tenner ?

Would we be saying that wouldn't make much difference or would that be prohibiting many people renewing ?

Season Tickets at Barnsley are fantastic value.

Don't get me wrong Dirk, 10 off is great and will have convinced a few extra fans to get one as well as a few that were possibly not going to renew. I just meant in the grand scheme of things, 10 quid off on it's own isn't such a big deal, but 10 quid off and a free child's ticket, all other kids £25 and juvenile tickets increased to 18 DOES make a big difference.

They don't need to knock huge amount's off the adult price if they're clever with the pricing of the other tickets and the way that they market them (as PC was with the statement on the official site)

I genuinely thought this year's ST would be £350 so in my mind i'm going to pay £40 x 2 tickets less.

Look at Sheffield 6 if you want a comparison. I also think Donnie may be over £400 (could be wrong)
