Awfully sorry to hear that mate, your dad sounded like a top top man. The memories never leave you mate, so remember the good times. Rest in peace, sir.
Very sorry to hear your news, puts all football stuff into proper perspective. Sincere condolences to you and yours.
So sorry to hear of your loss, mate. Deepest sympathies and condolences to you and yours at this terrible time. Like your good self, my late Father was the one who first took me to Oakwell.
Doesn't this show BloodRed that Tykes fans who we might never meet, still care enough to offer nice words like this and I mean on here AND on Tykesmad as well. I lost my dad in Jan 2011 and he was a really old fashioned Yorkie, he taught me just about everything I know today and for that, Im grateful to him forever.
Sorry to hear of your sad news mate. I know no words are good enough at this time to ease your pain but thoughts and best wishes sent to you from the Marlon Household.
Condolences to all the family ..may your father have had a peaceful crossing to the other side of the ether ...blessings and light...to you all
So sorry mate - my late dad got me into the Reds also - BFC vs Reading 4-3 in the FA CUP 3rd Round (can't remember the year - 86?). Gutted for you.
Lost my Dad when I was 22. Thoughts with you and yours at this very sad time Tykester. Try and remember all the happy times you shared together it will help you to cope with your loss.
Times like this nothing matters. And when something like this you don't know what to say but acknowledge it somehow. Hope it's a long time before I have to say something like this. Rest in peace
So sorry to hear of your loss. We just lost my father in late 2015 & father in law a couple of weeks ago so know your pain. Sounds like you got into the Reds at a similar time, my first game was in 73. A magical time for a young lad & forged a habit of a lifetime. Stay strong & cherish your Dad's memory.
Sorry for your loss, mate. Well done for doing it right. Sad, but it is one of life's biggest milestones.
Sincere condolences. Keep your chin up as best you can. I lost my Dad over 20 years ago. I still feel closest to him when I go to Oakwell. Even have discussions with him in my head about the game! All the best mate.
